     Violas And Field Pansies do not have the typical heart shaped leaves, so common with most of the other members of the Viola genus.  Their leaves tend to be oval shaped.  The leaf edges may be smooth or have crenations (rounded notches).
 
     How Many indentations do the leaves have on each side?
 
(F1), 0 to 2 Crenations  (F2), 3 or more Crenations
