This gallery contains a collection of  images presenting species of Violets, found in the wild in America.  If you would like to contribute an original photo (That You Took!) to this collection, please send it as a ".bmp" file attachment to a file describing the specimen (Genus, species, Photo Owner Name, Date of Copyright, Text Description) to the Webmaster at the address indicated below.

Images submitted should be at least 600 X 375 or 375 X 600 pixels.  We would prefer 640 X 400 or 400 X 640 pixel images.  The image will be digitally processed and placed on the site as a similarly sized ".jpg" image, compressed to 50KB file size.

Your Photo Copyright information will be placed below the photo, as above.  If you provide descriptive text, it will also be included as above.  If you provide  additional images of the same species/variety, these will be placed on a secondary page, accessible by clicking on a  "More Information" button that will be placed to the right of the descriptive text. NOTE: THE MORE INFORMATION FUNCTION IS NOT YET IMPLEMENTED!
